Job Description:

This position manages the day-to-day operations and directly supervises College of Medicine and Life Sciences staff in the Department of Medicine. This position is responsible to interview, hire, evaluate, train, and discipline College of Medicine and Life Sciences staff. Provides assistance and support to the Department Administrator with ffiscal controls. Implements and monitor's College of Medicine and Life Sciences policies, practices, and procedures. Works with recruitment team to advertise and recruit new faculty. Disseminates information as needed to ensure departmental cohesiveness

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant healthcare-related field required. May consider two years related paid work experience in lieu of degree.
2. Two years' experience supervising staff in a professional office and/or academic setting
preferred.
4. Training in supervision and management strongly preferred.
5. Payroll processing experience required.
6. Proficient in MS Office including but not limited to Word and Excel.
